Dear Tench: During the early Jurassic era, the climate was warm without any ice cap at either pole. All of the land was one big supercontinent. Think mostly tropical over the all the land. That lasted for many millions of years. Global average temperatures were higher than they are now. See: en.wikipedia.org Pete
