Lakisha has been on TV before. Here she is singing "Think" in a Houston competiton in 2005. youtube.com She came in second to this performance. Christy Suggett performs When God Fearing Women Get The Blues by Martina McBride at the Gimme the Mike Houston 2005 finals. Christy won the 2005 competition with this song in the final match against Lakisha Jones. youtube.com In fairness to Christy, she is a good singer, with a better package, competing in Houston. Lakisha had a terrible hairdo, and really poor clothes. I can see why the judges went with Christy.
