I watched Charlie Rose's show with Michael Crichton. He's been such a critic of global warming that it's curious what his position is. He thinks we should be doing something about curbing carbon and the like, he does believe we have an effect but he does not believe that we are headed for a catastrophe. He does not think that we can predict the climate because we cannot predict the weather in the near term but he isn't as strong a critic of the idea of global warming as I thought. Curious. He also really likes Gore but he thinks he's wrong on this issue. I thought Crichton had gone a little loopy but, in reality, he's not that big a critic.
