Don't believe it, the fact that they don't speak out is evidence that they secretly cheer on the terrorists... don't be fooled, this is what they want you to believe...
Uh.. my comments are based upon my personal experience with a number of muslims, both here in the US, as well during my 2 years in Iraq.
There are many muslims, primarily Iraqi-Americans, working in Iraq and THEY UNDERSTAND how their religion has been warped by the Jihadists.
Let's think of this way.. when Jesus walked the earth, he was perceived as a man of peace. But after 1000 years we had Crusaders charging into Palestine killing, or exiling, a large percentage of the Jewish population there, after ousting the Muslims from parts of the region. Afterward, for a period of years they established a "truce" with the Muslims and carried on considerable commerce.
This was a definite warping of the Christian faith, IMO.. All carried out in the name of god, but for the benefit of the corrupt and twisted aspirations of a few men.
If we're going to maintain our objectivity, we must condemn religious militancy, no matter from where it is derived.
A Christian, or Jewish, militant is just as dangerous as an Islamic one.
