Do you believe that an emphasis on improving (and innovating new ones) our technologies is harmful in the long-term? I love clean air and water. One of the reasons I moved to the islands when I retired. I get a jones over it. I just posted on my thread that the true history of the world is the triumph of innovation over stupidity and superstition. When I look at it, I don't find any of it was accomplished by Politicians or Bureaucrats in DC. It was done in spite of them. I think James Clark Maxwell did more for humanity than every Congressman, Senator, President, Bureaucrat or Priest who ever lived.
