doug, Hector also said the Barcelona ramp would be like the original Opteron ramp. Want to see how many units of Opteron were shipped in its first two quarters? I think the situation is very different. If AMD does have the Barcelona's available, and if the server vendors have completed their qualification, Barcelonas can ship in the existing servers. I think the incremental revenue will be only the difference between Barcelona ASP and K8 ASP it is replacing. In addition to that, Barcelona may pick up a bit of new share - all assuming that Barcelonas are available in Q3. Joe
