There is no question that islam was, in times passed, quite creative in the arts, mathematics, and architecture to mention a few accomplishments to their credit. Alas, today islam is a mountain stream ending in mud.
Your points are well made; however, civilization in a nuclear age does not have time to re-educate the brainwashed. The low-level islamist soldier demonstrates a profound lack of critical thinking skills and common human values. Obviously many of the terrorist leaders have been educated in a sense -- usually in the west.
Both islam and non-islamic civilization are based upon INCONGRUENT PHILOSOPHICAL PRE-SUPPOSITIONS. By definition, these pre-suppositions cannot be subject to compromise.
Islam strives for the annihilation of all that is non-islamic in form and being -- infidels of any shape, size and color. Co-existence, as equals to, and living in peaceful coexistence with, non-islamic civilization has NEVER been part of islam's sacrament despite their art, mathematics, and beautiful buildings. That attitude is part of korianic sacraments and exemplified by mohamid' own behavior. It is a way of life that has out-lived it's value.
