Lam has repurchased about 16.7 million shares for $604.9 million through Thursday. Not sure how they did it; even based on 2 year chart the average price of $36.17 looks very good. Didn't you complain about AMAT doing poorly when buying back? Otherwise it looks the sector is buying back. finance.yahoo.com
