TORONTO, Aug. 20 /CNW/ - Fleet Aerospace Corporation today released
results for the period ended June 30, 1996

Find these results on CNW AUG. 20

- Effective August 8, 1996 Mr. Donald C. Lowe became Vice Chairman.
Previously Mr. Lowe was President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr.
N. Murray Edwards, the Corporation's Chairman, was appointed as Chief
Executive Officer.

- The Board of Directors have given management approval to review a
consolidation of Fleet Aerospace Corporation's common shares on a one
new for five old basis, subject to shareholder and regulatory
approval.

A Question to both of you--I assume the one share would be the same value as the
five but what I do not know is whether they would retain that value for long?

Could you please answer ASAP?

Thanks Den
