I didn't say Q4. For the year. And it will be more than a billion.

¿¿¿¿¿¿ LOL!! I don't think this guy is even on the same therad here?? Here is EXACTLY what you said that caused me to write that post.

You're nuts. SIRI's Q4 is going to be horrendous. Over a billion in loss. That's bad, any way you look at it.

Seems crystal clear to me.. Unless you want to go into your normal excuses when you are busted for posting your OPINIONS as FACTS? More typos again, or maybe some excuse a little more creative???

You had better look again. SIRI reported way over 800M last year, which was more than any loss XM ever reported.

Why should I look again?? You clearly are attempting to smear the FACTS into some sort of "Oh, gosh!! SIRI is just horrible. I provided the break out in great detail in this post. I guess you didn't like the numbers because they didn't support your hyperbole. The FACTS are simple.. XM's loss over a longer period of time (years) to grow from 600,000 to 5 million subs is about 20% less than SIRI's loss over a shorter period of time to grow the same subscriber count. Just because you want to attempt to claim that SIRI's loss is much higher over the last year and compare that to XM while XM's growth has been much, much smaller than SIRI's.

Sirius has accumulated a billion more in deficits (that's 1/3 more for the arithmetically challenged) than XM while having fewer subscribers.

LOL!! Ahhh Music to my ears.. The cry of the Popsicle Stand Investors.. Sure my Popsicle's are melting.. But, just take a look at his.. LOL!! Yet somehow, even with this horrible news. XM's market cap was over a Billion Dollars less than SIRI's before the announcement.. I always thought that the company with more debt should have a LOWER market cap?

As usual, you don't know WTF you're talking about.

¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ I don't know what WTF I am talking about WHAT??

Now you have drifted off on some other wild A$$ tangent about some other subject that I haven't even commented on. After you write a whole paragraph about this new wild A$$ tangent that you came up with.. You then claim I don't know WTF I am talking about on a subject that I have never commented on!!! LOL! Listen Boy....That BITTERNESS is gonna' kill ya'..

Seems to me you're doing all the yelling and screaming. At least when I yell and scream I do know what I'm talking about.

¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ LOL!! That's what you keep sayin'.. From 4 years ago..

Your analysis is terribly simplistic. It overlooks the important word "currently". Call it the cost of obtaining a new subscriber, whatever -- the reality is that it is totally anticipated startup cost.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

One thing counts. That is the rate of growth in subscribers. The financing will happen as there are too many big funding sources who have too much at stake for it to NOT happen. The business, once these startup commitments are fulfilled, is one of the biggest cash cows you'll ever lay eyes on.

A year ago I worked up ballpark break even figures and they were right on with what the company is saying. Now, XM has stated they will breakeven sooner due to cost cuts. There is every reason to believe these data.

Gary Parsons will be Mel's boss.
LOL!!!!! He's the COB!! Which means he has almost no input on the day to day management of the company.

You're naive. OK!! If you say so... Mr. CA$H COW!!

It is a safe bet Mel sold XM's institutional holders on the merger before he sold Parsons.

Given you past record on "bets".. I wouldn't put too much stock into that concept.

When you think you can get something right, let me know.

Sure, sounds good to me Mr. The business, once these startup commitments are fulfilled, is one of the biggest cash cows you'll ever lay eyes on.
