When I woke up this morning I was for some reason thinking of this piece of the Book. It is in common for both Islam and Judaism. They of course argue over which son.
I was thinking how sad G*d or Allah must be. Imagine giving three groups of people "the people of the book" that message, and then having them make your Holy Places awash with Blood for thousands of years. Imagine that Jews and Muslims want to pray at the Wailing Wall/al Aqsa, and they are willing to cover them both with the blood of the sons of Abraham to do it. Is there any part of the lands holy to their G*d that they will not make slippery with blood.
Allah/G*d must be horrified. Who kills the Sons of Abraham is disobedient to the Word of the Book. It is forbidden to kill the sons of Abraham. |
