A lovely thought, I just can't see our Government doing anything that makes fiscal sense. It would also take the mystery out toxic wastes that fuel our war machines. How would the goverment cash up the likes of Bechtels, Raytheons, Kaiser Engineering, Westinghouse with out producing toxic wastes that are flowing into rivers like the mighty Columbia?
How would our nuclear reactors around the country be self sustaining with out the rich uncle paying for storage of all those spent fuel rods?.
Are you aware that not one fuel rod has been reprocessed, they are all just sitting around waiting for a terrorist to fly into the likes of the Diablo facility, which would poison the coast of California for a mere 10,000 years.
Why ? Thorium Power has the technology to reprocess those spent fuel rods with thorium and burn them cleanly. Thorium Powers technology can clean up this whole mess of spent fuel rods in storage world wide. Thorium Powers technology can destroy the plutonium stock piles world wide as well.
Any government with any fiscal responsibility, and utility company running nukes should be jumping on the band wagon and shouting Thorium Power from the tallest mountains but they are not. Why?
It all makes too much sense in a screwed up world, that any country can build a nuclear reactor for with out the threat of producing nuclear bombs.
In my discussions with THPW if today they embarked to develop and patent what they already have done, the costs estimated to get where they are today with out any future contracts sales etc would be around $400,000,000.
Why are we trading where we are ?

Where are all the journalists? This should be a national and world wide priority. Where is Jack Mc Caffrey , Christine Armandpor (sp), 60 Minutes, where is Larry King!!...oh yeah covering Anna Nichole Smith. |
