Nadine doesn't care as long as they are not her peeps. This is the same defensive mantra that has played out in human society for ages.

It is old, it is uncivilized and it is unacceptable. Does Nadine want to round up Muslims into ghettos and slap emblems on them to identify who they are on the off chance they are out to do something bad? I have seen that sentiment time and again on this thread.

Who the heck is Bush fighting in Iraq and to what end? From the media reports, it seems as if the Shiites are holding back so that the US beats up the Sunnis. In that case, Bush is fighting on behalf of Iran which is ridiculous given his stance on Iran.

Is Bush fighting the Shiite militias? If so, how in the world can he tell the difference between a Shiite militiaman or sympathizer and a Shiite he's training in the security forces?

Is Bush simply fighting to quell all violence? In that case, this isn't a war, it's a police action and are there anywhere near enough troops to accomplish this? Did anyone in the USA sign up to be the Iraq national police force in perpetuity?

Is Bush simply fighting for the oil companies? Is he simply looking to squash dissent (violent or not) so that western oil companies can turn Iraq into a gigantic oil corporation? Can oil companies own a country and are they trying to?
