Then you should know enough Arabs to stop talking nonsense about Pasreal. As we all know, dubai is not exactly representative of Syria, Palestine Egypt or Saudi Arabia.
It is representative of what Syria, Palestine, Egypt and Saudi Arabia could become. It's a majority Muslim country, extremely multicultural, and extremely successful. A model that argues multi-cultural Pasrael could also be a success. Of course, it helps that Dubai is rolling in oil and tourism money, but it's success lends support to my belief that Arabs can live amongst people unlike them just fine.
Remember this Pasreal idea is something to be implemented over decades, perhaps 2-3-4 decades, not in a week. If the Muslim of Dubai can do it, so can the descendants of the descendants of today's Hamas and Hizbullah.
Got many Jews in dubai? How many non-muslims are citizens?
Non-Muslim citizens, probably zero. Maybe 2%, I don't know. Only 15% or so of the population are citizens - most of us are imported workers. As for Jews in the country, I know a few of American Jews that come and go all the time on business. I doubt many would live here, for obvious reasons. Again, one result of a united Pasreal where Jews, Muslim, Cops, and agnostics could live together would be the likelihood that some Jews would move to Dubai. |
