XM Satellite loss narrows
The satellite radio company posts a loss of $263 million as it cut costs to help subscriber growth.

NEW YORK (Reuters) -- XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc., which is planning to merge with rival Sirius Satellite Radio, Monday said its quarterly loss narrowed as it trimmed costs related to growing its base of subscribers.

The Washington-based company posted a fourth quarterly loss attributable to common stockholders of $263.2 million, or 90 cents a share, from a loss of $270.5 million, or $1.22 a share, a year earlier.

Wow!! 1.7 million net new subscribers added in 2006, and their loss decreased a whole whoppin' 7 million dollars from Q4 last year. Man!! that costs control is really working great! Of course we can also mention that dillutive activities were 33% for the year. The loss was calculated against 221.7 million shares last year vs. 295.7 million shares this year.

LOL! Yeap!! As David Ray used to say when he was trying to explain to everyone several years ago that I WAS CLUELESS, AND JUST HADN'T DONE MY HOMEWORK

The business, once these startup commitments are fulfilled, is one of the biggest cash cows you'll ever lay eyes on.

The boy can no longer deny that it was himself that was clueless and didn't have a clue what he was talking about. I guess all of those courses in "managerial accounting" didn't help too much. LOL!!
