I agree - that was wrong of him and probably perjury (he knew better). Microsoft's behavior has been as bad as Intel's.

OTOH, we know that there was a gun to his head, and the finger on the trigger was Intel's. Microsoft was offering him a bullet resistant helmet for his testimony.
