But it didn't get them very far, in fact, only the other day their ambassador left Washington hurriedly. Speculation has it that the Saudis are angry about a US tilt towards the Shiites in Iraq.

No, it's plain what's going on is more complicated than that, including jockeying for succession inside the royal family between Prince Bandar al Sultan and Prince Turki al Faisal. Bandar ruled in DC more like a Roman Proconsul than an ambassador, he left too many tentacles in DC for Price Turki to be able to take command of the job.

Actually there is quite a lot of evidence to show that the Israelis both knew about 9/11 before it happened and rejoiced when it did but there's no particular evidence connecting MOSSAD to it, certainly that I'm aware of

Knew in a general way, heard the terrorist chatter, yes. Knew something actionable? No.

The incidents in Saudi Arabia, Africa and the Cole were, in my opinion, understandable as terrorist attacks and were the reason why Clinton bombed the Sudan and Afghanistan. 9/11 was something entirely different, both in concept and in magnitude, and I am satisfied could not have been effected and controlled by primitive people living in caves

This is verging on weird. Who says that OBL is "primitive" or that the aid he received is "primitive"? In fact, 9/11 followed an established AQ pattern of bombings (was the 1993 WTC attack "understandable as a terrorist attack" whatever that means?), just bigger and better. Now, a lot of people did conclude that AQ must have had state sponsorship to pull it off, and there may be something in that.

But 9/11 was no kind of display of technological prowess. It was 19 men with boxcutters, 4 of whom had some training as pilots, 4 normal passenger jets full of fuel, and a very carefully thought out plan. Are you saying Islamic radicals are too stupid to think of such a thing? Funny thing is, half the Muslim world seems to agree.
