Politics and QCOM are extremely closely related and will become more so as time goes by. That's because governments will want to control every pixel which moves in cyberspace, and every bit and byte zipping through cyberspace whether pixelated or not. And, governments will want to charge a fee for allowing anything to move.

It took 11 years from when I first made a political comment and had to explain to Ramsey Su how politics was going to be front and centre in the QCOM's life. Now, most of what we deal with is patents, litigation, legal fees, laws, trade, and the whole government ambit. QCOM's annual legal bill is now about the market capitalisation of QCOM back in the day.

Bring it on!
