Yes, only hard core W suckups are capable of thought, at least after you've gone through the looking glass into W's world. Thought seems to be defined in a manner similar to "personal responsibility" there.

Vietnam seems like a pretty weak analogy for W's war in Iraq, though, quagmirish as Iraq might seem at this point. Sharon's excellent little adventure in Lebanon circa '82 seems much more apropos. My understanding is there was no Hezbollah before that excellent intervention, just as there was no Al Qaeda in Iraq before W's war.
