Well DJ it seems you are in need of learning some facts.

Lets look at all the incorrect statements in your post shall we.

/Ecuador could impose a tax any time they want. Ecuador could nationalize ARU.v any time they want just as Morrales did in Bolivia with no compensation. Take a look at the history of KRY in Venezuela, how many years have they had a delineated gold deposit? How many years have they been waiting to get a mining permit? How many companies have been nationalized in the mean time?

To claim Ecuador is safer than Nevada is the most laughable thing I've ever heard./

First Marrales has not nationalized any mines in Bolivia and is in fact backing away from such thoughts because he knows it would be a large mistake.

KRY in Venezuela does not own the deposit, the state does and KRY is trying to get permission to operate the mine. Much like Dynatec operates Gold Corps. Red Lake mine but does not own it.

DJ why instead of raising these fear mongering questions do you not state the answer. Come on, tell me how many mines have been nationalized. LOL.

I would also like for you to show me the post where I supposedly stated "Ecuador is safer than Nevada". I never stated such a thing. However if you want to bring it up. First any gov. can bring in new taxes or do whatever they feel they can get away with. Canada's new Income Trust Legislation is a prime example of that, so what is your point.

Second if you new even a little about history, you would know that Pres. Roosevelt in 1933 sign into effect executive order 6102. This was the Gold Confiscation Act of 1933 which made it illegal for US citizens to own gold. All gold had to be turned into the US Gov. and all gold mined had to be given to US gov. at a fixed price.
That sure sounds like nationalization to me. LOL
Ecuador has never done this, so perhaps you should rethink your last statement. Anytime the US President decides he can do it again.LOL
