Just long enuf to get control and stop the gangs, now going into Chad, even.

Then they would come right back after you left, blowing up American troops all the while. Unless you went to the heart of the matter and deposed the Islamic regime in Sudan. After all, they are the ones sending the janjeweed to commit genocide.

So once again we would see the pictures of IEDs exploding (funny how Al Jazeera always has a camera in the right spot at the right time), local "insurgents" blowing up the foreign American infidel, etc, etc.

But to actually protect the black population of Darfur would take years of building up the Darfur rebels into a government that could protect itself.

All the while the bombs would be exploding.

Tell me you would be for this war.
