You know, just because I couldn't google up the totals in the first five minutes is hardly proof that nothing happened. You know, when I post numbers that have meaning I make sure that the numbers are correct. What did you do to make sure that your claim that we should have stayed involved in Vietnam because "millions" of people died when we left, was accurate? Why don't you simply admit that you had no basis for parading such figures. And when you've done that why don't you take an objective look at what was happening when we were there and contrast that to what actually happened when we left? That's the process through which intelligent decisions are made. If you do that you may, of course, have to conclude that our leaving, on a relative basis, was good for us, good for them and good for the world. And then maybe you can start the process of weaning yourself from some of the most outlandish spin spewed forth by the right wing talk show screamers. Ed
