Maybe someone hasn't done an estimate because it wasn't all that bloody a takeover. If it had been super violent, you'd figure (or I would figure, at least) that there'd be a lot more written on it, right?

I mean TONS is written on the folks who died in China during the famine, and the great leap forward, and the reeducation camps. We've got pretty good numbers on that- but of course, that's because it happened. Now China gets MFN status, and we send them all their money. They're still communist. Odd, isn't it?
