Gateway Mining reported new Cu mineralization at its Gidgee leases in Western Australia, with two RC holes intersecting a 30m intersection at 1% Cu and 15m @ 0.23%.

Drillhole GRC183 intersected 1% from 70 to 100m downhole, while GRC182 intersected 15m @ 0.23% Cu from 30-45m downhole.

Separately, Barrick Gold has advised their intention to withdraw from the Victory Creek project following the failure of two 500-m drillholes to intersect gold mineralization at a geophysical target.

The company is awaiting a full drilling report and is presently assessing several options for the area.
