My my, this thread is newly popular. Nice to see the wide range of views in here. I agree this touchy-feely business has gotten out of hand. Touchy-feely bringing Democracy to Iraq, wave the flag and drop a few more bombs (major source of global pollution by the way), touchy-feely gas hogging SUVs, sniff, oh bring me a hanky, I just get misty eyed thinking about the fellahs who don't feel complete unless their Hummers are bigger than the other guys.
And let's get really emotional now about those patriotic oil companies, let's put through more tax breaks and let's stop those nasty bureaucrats from collecting even what they owe. Gosh, its no wonder they spend billions to cast doubt on global warming and alternative energies, they have so much money they have to do SOMETHING creative with it.
I get real emotional thinking about those nasty, cold-blooded scientists, too. Those number-crunching, computer wielding, sample-taking geeks. Freaking Polar bears were just put here to provide us with spectacular fur coats, I believe Reverend Falwell said that. Amen brothers.
