No, the potato chip post was clearly an attaboy that Ed shouldn't get sucked in to wrestling with a "pig" (like the person he was debating with). It was your subtle way of letting him know you were on his side.

As far as ganging up goes, it is clear that warfy, sarman and you jumped in with Ed against CB. The posts are there for all to see.

And we know how you feel about ganging up, right?
