If as you say radical islam is a reaction to Western culture what then should we call the invasions by islam armies into India long before so called western culture existed...these islam armies were as radical as any islamists we have today and they slaughtered millions of innocent people in the name of islam... should they also be called radical islam.

And what of islam armies before the time of India invasions they also slaughtered thousands in the name of islam in different lands...True??

IMO radical islam is not at all something new...it has been with us for 1400 years.

Other religions have done terrible things in the name of religion but for the most part all religions have advanced in their thinking and actions with modern societies....islam has not.
