Projectavision will ship 1,000 units by
year-end, 20,000 by late 1998, CEO Martin Holleran said. Projector,
based on Texas Instruments Digital Light Processing (DLP)
technology, is being sold through specialty dealers including
Bjorn's Audio/Video and Harvey Electronics. Distribution at Wiz was
postponed until production volume increases, Holleran said. He said
projector also has shipped to distributor Boxlight, which will sell
to commercial market.
