Dale, you are correct--I must have mistyped there--split should result in about 2m shares.

To all: I called company on 9/27 and spoke to CFO, basically to ask what was causing runup. He said that they attribute it to turnaround of company with increasing earnings last 4 years, acquisition of firm in other related line that has higher profit margins, and stock split.

I was glad to see that news of split was on PR wire which gets picked by Yahoo as no other releases other than 10qs were listed previously.

Re split: purchasers of shares today and up until 10/6 should get the stock dividend otherwise price should have dropped today if buyer today does not, right? (same question came up on REAL thread which also is issuing a stock dividend about the same time).
