Also, you wrote "We can work together to identify real threats and strategise to protect ourselves from harm". Is that any different than the "war on terror" which is where we are at now? I mean to say, if we don't neutralize the totalitarian ideology, we'll spend the rest of our days threatened by it. Did I read you wrong?
