Without any foreign involvement perhaps China would have "annexed" Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia? Hell, maybe even Thailand, when they "annexed" Tibet in 1959. Why not? Who was going to stop them, the Malaysians?

How can you get upset with the US trying to do well in Vietnam (and perhaps failing) when China is interfering with Tibet, and basically destroying the cutlture and enslaving the people? There are loads of other country's with foreign policies that are much more harmful than the US's foreign policy if you're looking for someone to get upset with.
