When looking at the stats (see link below) you'll find an interesting match at the first 2 places:

1	AMD Athlon(tm)/Opteron(tm) CPU-model unknown	2	1,428.95 
2	Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5350 @ 2.66GHz		2	1,128.46
(place, name, # of CPUs, avrg. credit per CPU)

*) That's simply the most likely explaination for what we are seeing there to happen.
