Either way, no one is really saving anything here. It's just the government giving faulty estimates, which of course is par for the course when it's your tax dollars at work. You guys aren't just content to be contrarians on these matters, you need to find the negative in the good...this car uses less than 1/2 the average gas for the same distance traveled, despite the adjustments. Adjustments have to be radical to change the perception (and reality) of what it does well...not so for the less efficient cars. As a result one could easily argue that the prior figures aided the gas hogs far more than they did hybrids.... Al
