I thought one good reason was that MSFT and Netscape are battling things out over what is most efficient method for "delivering news" to desktop. Considering that MSFT was nowhere in the browser business just a couple of years ago while Netscape was rocketing to the moon, ole Billy boy has succeeded in grabbing a good chunk of the browser business. Think he is going to let up? I doubt it. Even if he "outsources" this technology and manpower, we should all benefit. Plus (I guess) he probably has to keep a lid on all the stuff he "buys" because of Justice Department on his tail all the time. So, to sum up...... Who knows..... Andrew
