I can't say I'm as concerned as you, but some time ago I went nearly all to cash (T-Bills). These are as safe as America. I still keep a mid 5 figure trading account, but that's really my "play" money. Fortunately, it provides me with walking around money. I still keep data on all stocks, but rarely invest in them anymore. I trade ETFs in my IRA, but that's really not much money, and I have to start taking funds out of it next year.
