It points out the advice I've been giving my two kids, aged 48 and 46. Get out of debt! My son has already gone through a bankruptcy about 15 years ago, brought about by very poor decisions. He's making a very nice salary now and living in WY with a favorable cost of living. He says he's paying down his credit cards (note the plural). My daughter is more responsible than the son, but I still don't know how she stands. I worry about both of them. I guess that's what dad's do...
