Everytime Bernanke was asked for specific solutions, he (as he should) dodged the questions. His position (rightfully, imo) is that everything should be on the table....tax cuts, subsidies, entitlement spending growth, etc.

His point was that the failure of Congress to either raise revenues or decrease spending and adopt some combinations of the two will lead us to this financial crisis.

He repeatedly said that the economy won't grow us out of this mess, and he called on Congress to get real.
