Now that is a no brainer, since it has already had a 30 year month-end-close high. January's close over 650 has never been exceeded, barring constant dollars. If we accept the fact that it has to be close to its constant or better, then it should be a LOT higher. Like 2000 or more dollars.

The ratio since 1980 is 2.68 indicating gold would have to be $2144 to exceed 1980's high in real dollars.
