I interpret the latest as being DIFFERENT then what the Dems wanted. They wanted Bush to sit down with Iran and Syria. This situation is that IRAQ has invited ALL PLAYERS in the middle east to the table, INCLUDING Iran and Syria. We are along as observers. The direct talks are between the legitimate govt of Iraq and the govts of the surrounding countries. To me, thats different as as it should be. jdn
