If I don't respond to a particular part of your message, you can assume I agree. ;-)

As for this part:
They probably skip the light fan dango when they think about Muslims being persecuted in America.
They don't have a 'with us or against us' morality, they have a with us or suffer untold agony, then die morality. Remember the women who had acid thrown in their faces, etc. in Afghanistan under Taliban rule? They weren't Americans.

I think we've had a miscommunication again. In my response to your previous message, I asked, "If the belief among non-Taliban Muslims is that Taliban spokespersons (in this case, Mullah Hayatullah Khan), are just trying to incite more violence between Islam and the West, then shouldn't they be more involved in silencing this kind of rhetoric by fighting side-by-side with U.S. and other western forces to end it?"

Simplifying...if the Taliban is focused on instigating or inciting the US to destroy the rest of Islam, shouldn't the rest of Islam be trying to stop the Taliban? Seems intuitive...why let your neighbor wake up the lion when you're cleaning the cage?
