Well, it's all speculation of what would happen if China were unchecked by outside presence in SE Asia, so who knows? As usual I'm just guessing.

The "Tibet is a part of China" claim is pretty ridiculous, however. Do Tibetans speak Chinese? I'd say language is a necessity to be honestly considered "part of a nation" up until this century. If the other people don't speak the same language as you, they probably don't think they are part of your country. The Chinese probably took Tibet because they could, not because of any feeling of it being inherently Chinese land.
