You mean baathists planned ahead and we didnt, dont you? When you see weapons piled to the sky and they just sit there unsecured, one concludes that baathist planning was aided greatly by allied neglect. War on the cheap baby is the culprit. I dont think in WW2 weapons were just left out there by either side for the other to get ahold of.
