Henri Richard is saying that Barcelona will be even better. Already I can evaluate that claim ... by calling B.S. How about that claim of 42% better performance? Vs. what? Dual-core Opteron? Clovertown? In integer? Floating point? Across the board, or on one "common industry-standard benchmark"? The claims coming from the AMD execs seem to vary in detail, which leads to even more variation in interpretation, especially from "you heard it here first" sites like the Inq. Personally, I think Barcelona will just be "good enough" for AMD to get back in the game, but that also means the AMD execs will once again get away with their dishonesty. Tenchusatsu
