My guess would be that the stock is not going to make much of move until Harold's attempts to solve the small store problem are clearly successful. He stated in the interview that it was probable FEET would take on debt. This is a company that has always been cash-rich in the past. I think that is enough to give most investors pause, especially given that FEET missed earnings last quarter.

If Harold wanted the stock to respond positively to his interview, he should have said: "I am personally devoting all my efforts to ensure that the small-store format will be successful. We will continue with the planned growth of the big box stores which can easily be financed from current profits. We will not take on any debt to increase the number of small-store units until we have absorbed the current acquisitions and proved that we can operated them profitably."
