That's very true about the INTC/DELL alliance and no doubt that was a major factor in Dell's past dominance.

But remember, Gateway was in a similar position that Dell is now - losing market share, little to differentiate itself. Retail is not the cure. It's about bringing design and vision back to Dell. Michael, make it cool to own a Dell again.
