Two points. Actions aren't necessarily water under the bridge and "justice" is in the eyes of the beholder.

Are you saying the people who drive a bomb full of explosives into a crowd of Iraqis looking for work killed all those formerly unemployed and now dead Iraqis for......"justice"?

What we see as senseless violence in Iraq the perpetrators most likely see as a form of justice. A morality of an eye for an eye; better yet, two eyes for an eye.

As perhaps may be clear, I can't tell from your post what point you are trying to make, other than your belief that Afghanistan didn't have anything to do with 9/11, which was nowhere hear the topic we were sort of discussing.

The point being the civilized world will execute it's own form of justice. I'm confident that 99+% of Americans believe that invading Afghanistan to get UBL was seeking justice. A bunch of Afghans died and UBL is in Pakistan [maybe]. Hardly justice for the Afghans that died or their families.

Each side always has a rationale [rationalization] for what it did. Actions aren't water under the bridge, they are ball and chains.

P.S. Damn, there are a lot of posts. IMO, there are some people around here that need to get a life out of SI.
