Yes- I agree. As I said, I have signed petitions about the child porn since personally I feel it is unacceptable under any circumstances. There are lots of things that are very strange on SL; it's very much like the real world in that respect. The debate is control- just as it is on the internet. AndI suppose there is the issue of whether the use of fakey avatars for roleplay legally constitutes any kind of real child porn. Where I disagree is that it has much to do with Edwards. Also I wonder if he even knew that someone set up the headquarters. There is a huge amount of things like trademark infringement that goes on. WHen someone designs sneakers with e.g., a Nike logo, Nike has to decide if it's infringement or free advertising and whether they really want to stop it. Edwards may request the person who did this, given the negative publicity, to shut down the HQ. Since I don;t care for him much, it's a non-issue for me.
