Were the dollar amounts reversed?

Usually there are about 30-33 Taiwan dollars
for every US dollar. So 608 billion TW
dollars would be 20 billion US dollars at 30
TWD per USD.
The article might have this reversed.

Another possibility is that 20 billion
Taiwan dollars equals about 608 MILLION
US dollars, not BILLION US dollars, at 33
TWD per USD.

Either way, the numbers in that article are suspect.
And 608B US dollars is WAY ALOT! Like 1/3 of the
whole US government budget for a year. Not a
reasonable number for a single company, unless it's
Exxon-Mobil or Citicorp or GE.

You should read a bit more critically.
