(Still waiting for spouse to pick me up to go to airport.) YEah, the zoning is sort of wild- mostly LL just offers sort of non-nasty areas (hard to find) vs mature. Once an individual buys a large area of land, he can then do what he wants, which includes decide on architecture and rules. Anshe Chung is the first SL millionaire (meaning she has made a huge amount of money in RL doing real estate on SL) and her sites are sometimes regulated. There are also neighborhoods of furries, and gays, and Victorian villages, and medieval, and Goth, and one place tried a socialist kind of town with ownership by all. Anyway, it's a fascinating social experiment to watch. Finally- on way to airport!
