I definitely slipped up on that last post. Was reading much too late and failed to see the date. (I knew better... do not know what the hell I was thinking.) Sam's initial post is on the money.
The ticker is probably the real money here, I agree.
I said I put no faith in an oral agreement, nor, truth be told in a company that would operate on one.
I have a hard time buying the whole naked short scenario in any stock. If you sit down with a good series 7 study guide and have a partner who works with guys who are very tight with the folks who write and enforce the rules... It is very difficult to short naked for any amount of time.
You can still corner the market -- illegal as hell -- and cause a short squeeze of short term shorters. If I posted this stuff over at EUTO I would get flamed like there was no tommorow, but it is the truth. If there is shorting going on, it is simply the company selling off shares on the open market.
I do not give a rat's ass. I have a pretty good piece and I will wait and see what shakes out. It is spent money as far as I am concerned. Anyone interested in buying a ticker can let me know. I may have screwed up my last post, but I have not yet lost a cent selling a stock. (Commodities, on the other hand...)
